To determine whether is there a problem or something is wrong with any of the parts of the computer, the messages will be brought in codes to identify the problems that the computer is going through. These messages are instructed by the Basic Input and Output System (BIOS). Usually specific sounds that usually beeps when a computer had gone through a startup are one of the common methods of determine the error codes.

A few solutions generally to actually reset a BIOS password is to use a backdoor Basic Input and Output System password and also resetting the password itself using certain software or hardware. Apart from that, you can also vendor specific solutions that relates on resetting the Basic Input and Output System password itself. The solutions are quite wide and you will know which suits your computer the most.

There are two types of BIOS I would like to introduce as Dell BIOS Password Reset system that are Dell Dimension and Dell Optiplex. Dell Dimensions are basically connected to the 3-pin CMOS password reset jumper. If you are unsure, look out for the right technician to help you to do so. For the Dell Optiplex, this method is more advanced that the Dell Dimension system. More time and effort are actually consumed. First of all, you have to locate and remove your password jumper. Then just like the Dell Dimension system, you have to look for the 3-pin CMOS. For the Dell Optiplex system, the main focus is actually the jumper plug.
